Union Coop Releases New Updates to its Smart Online Store Application

The popular app, which received a facelift, not so long ago now, receives updates to make the consumer experience better and interesting
Union Coop, the largest Consumer Cooperative in the UAE released a series of new features that have been added to its smart online store app, to better the consumer experience.
Talking about the latest updates, Dr. Suhail Al Bastaki, Happiness & Marketing Dept. Director, Union Coop said: – “One of the primary features introduced is ‘Face Recognition or Face ID/Touch ID’, a feature that makes the overall experience more secure for the valued user. Regarding payment methods, the smart app introduced next-gen payment channels like ‘Apple Pay and ‘Samsung Pay’ for seamless transactions.”
“The Smart App allows the users to add ‘Tamayaz card’ to the list of widgets on the smartphone, which makes it readily accessible, instead of launching the application or managing the saved image of the loyalty card in the gallery,” revealed Dr. Al Bastaki.
He further adds: – “Additional features include listing cashback coupons, which users can view and redeem at the time of ‘billing’. In addition to this, 3 promotion banners are now displayed on the home screen of the app instead of just 1.”
“For shareholders, we are happy to announce that they will be able to use the shareholder portal in the app to view important information such as their monthly purchases and accumulated Tamayaz points.”
Dr. Suhail Al Bastaki while concluding the press release stressed the security of the smart online store app and mentioned that Union Coop is committed to bringing new methods to ease the access and innovative ways to interact with the users of its smart online store app and at the same time preserve the information assurance and privacy of its users by applying security controls to the app.
The recent updates reveal Union Coop’s goal to adapt as per the changing technology and offer a better user experience to its valued consumers, further making shopping as smooth as possible.
