Union Coop through its ‘Employee Happiness Unit’ launched an initiative to celebrate memorable moments or occasions in the life of its employees, during the year 2022. The honoring ceremony, which was held at Union Coop headquarters at Al Warqa City Mall – Dubai was held in the context of strengthening its responsibility towards the employees and further solidifying the communication bond. The ceremony celebrated the joyful occasions the employees experienced in the year 2022 such as marriage, graduation, birthdays and more.

Mr. Ahmad Salem Bin Kenaid Al Falasi, Human Resources & Emiratization Department Director, Union Coop explains that the aim of launching this initiative towards the end of the year 2022 was to spread happiness among the employees and highlight the importance of cordial communication, hereby reminding them about being a valuable member of the Union Coop family.

He further added that community participation is one of the authentic Emirati customs that reflects the values of solidarity and integrity among community members. The cooperative plays a vital role in applying these same qualities to create a healthy working environment for the employees, which again leads to the creation of strong relationships between departments and employees.

From the Trading Division, the list of honored employees included Mohamad Salik, Mohammad Saif Hassan, Haider Umer Muhammad and MADYAN ABDO SAEED MOHAMMED. From Admin Affairs Dept. :- SANAD ADNAN MUSAED AL ODAINI, HUDA ABDULLA EBRAHIM MOHAMMAD ALHELOO and NOOR UL AMIN MUHAMMAD AYUB.

From the Happiness and Marketing Dept. the honored employees were KHULOOD AHMAD GHULOOM REDHA ALBASTAKI, SAMIRA MOHD HUSSAIN ESSA KARAM, FARID YOUSEF FARID AL KHATIB and ABDURABU MOHAMMED HASAN M ABDURABU.

Employees from Human Resources and Emiratization Dept. included ALHIDRI PAKKAM SAPPARI, MOHAMED RANESH PARA KANDY, ZARRAR BIN MUBARAK SARRAN, SHAIKHA ALI HUSSAIN ABDULLA ALMATAWA and CHANDRA SEKHAR GUDURU.

From IT Dept. the honored employees were SUHAIL KOMATH and ALAA HASANAIN HASSAN ZANOUN.

From Operation Division, the honored employees were HASSAN AMESTAK, MUBASHIR AHMAD DAR and MOHAMED ABDULJALIL MOHAMED ALI. Meanwhile, the employee KAMAL MOHAMED KAMAL SAYED was honored from the Muhaisnah Male Camp.

The honored employees for their part expressed their happiness and gratitude to Union Coop and the ‘Employee Happiness Unit’ in the Human Resources and Emiratization Department for creating an optimal working environment and honoring their memorable occasions, indicating that initiatives such as this have an important role to play in raising the morale of employees and further increasing satisfaction and happiness. The honored employees gave their regards and wishes to Union Coop and its leadership in achieving its objectives and strategies.
