In line with the plans and vision of the Union Coop and its objectives in providing innovative and diverse services and encouraging Emiratis and urging them to invest and practice commercial activities, the cooperative has established a food truck restaurant project under the name “Mirdif Way”, which contains spaces designated for parking food trucks to sell food and beverages within a beautiful environment coordinated in terms of designs that keeps pace with the requirements of the modern times, as all designs were carefully chosen from the colors of the floors, tiles, lighting and other coordination elements.

The project was built on a part of the cooperative land adjacent to Etihad Mall with a total area of 262,607 sq. ft. in the Muhaisnah-1 area, where the project accommodates 42 food trucks, of which 28 vehicles provide dine-in spaces and 14 offer take away services.

The project aims to attract young people and localize economic projects to motivate and encourage those wishing to enter the employment market and increase production and investment. The first part of the project was opened in the beginning of 2022 (with 10 vehicles), and the second part of the project was completed in April of the same year (with 14 vehicles), and the last part ended in November of the same year (for 18 vehicles).
