Dubai, UAE:
Union Coop recently hosted a visit by 45 children from Spectrum Nursery, aimed at familiarizing them with healthy eating habits through exposure to fresh and healthy products offered by the cooperative for consumers of all ages.
During their visit to the Al Hamriya branch, the students learned about the importance of purchasing healthy foods and incorporating vegetables and fruits into their daily diets, making it a regular part of their lives. Supervisors guided the children through various sections of the branch to explore fresh produce, food items, and non-food products.
The children were also educated on the correct purchasing sequence, the payment methods available at the cooperative’s branches, as well as the organization and stocking of shelves, and how employees interact with customers and visitors. These activities aim to create an educational environment that promotes a culture of inclusivity and social responsibility.
The accompanying supervisors from the kindergarten appreciated Union Coop’s efforts in organizing educational tours for children. They praised the cooperative’s warm reception and the comprehensive overview provided to the students regarding the display hall operations, which align with the latest retail sector developments to attract shoppers and enhance consumer satisfaction.
