46 Children from ‘Al Barsha Kindergarten’ Visit Union Coop

Union Coop welcomed the institution’s request to accommodate a short visit to one of their branches in Dubai
Union Coop welcomed 46 kindergarteners from ‘Al Barsha Kindergarten’ at the Al Barsha South Mall branch in Dubai. The visit signifies healthy corporation between education institutions and important entities of the society, which helps in creating a learning environment, promotes the culture of inclusivity and social responsibility.
The visit was aimed to acquaint them with the importance of healthy eating and including vegetables and fruits in their daily diet as part of the school curriculum. This included exploring the display of fresh products, especially fresh fruits and vegetables wherein the supervisors helped the students identify the names and benefits of including the particular fruit and vegetable in the daily diet.
The supervisor also explained to them how to purchase the items and the payment methods used by the cooperative in its branches, in addition to how to arrange shelves and how employees deal with customers, and other matters that the cooperative organizes within its branches.
The ‘supervisor’ appreciated Union Coop’s effort and praised the distinguished initiative organized by the cooperative team. She thanked Union Coop on behalf of Al Barsha Kindergarten for the good reception, organization and for offering students, an insight into the mechanism deployed in the showroom, which is in line with the retailer’s vision to attract shoppers and promote consumer happiness.
