Etihad Mall Gets ‘A’ Grade for its Commitment to Dubai Municipality Regulations

Amidst the current Corona outbreak, Union Coop management has taken stringent measures to comply as per latest Dubai Municipality regulations
Etihad Mall, a Union Coop affiliated mall, the largest consumer cooperative in the UAE, has received a grade “A” by Dubai Municipality for its commitment to public health and safety requirements and all procedures and instructions for combating the Coronavirus pandemic.
It is worth mentioning that the Dubai Municipality – Health and Safety Department issued a circular includes the precautionary measures that must be followed for the reopening stage of shopping centers, which all centers need to adhere to, including but not limited to not allowing children (3-12) years or individuals over the age of 60 to enter the centers for their safety, close all tourist and recreational areas in commercial centers including cinema and sports centers, health clubs, removing/ closing public seating areas, defining areas for isolation in centers for use in emergencies or the presence of confirmed cases, putting a red mark on the entrances of shops stating the number of customers allowed to be in the shop at a given time and other measures that ensure the safety of community members.
