Union Coop locks the price of 50, 000 commodities from several categories until 2018 in a bid to promote consumer happiness

Union Coop – the largest Consumer Cooperative in the UAE announced its recent decision to freeze the prices of about 50, 000 commodities until 2018 end. This move is one of the many in line with the company’s ‘Consumer Happiness’ initiative, a move that focusses on rising the consumer happiness.

His Excellency Khalid Humaid Bin Diban Al Falasi, CEO of Union Coop said, “This was a very well-planned move because we value our consumers, and we want them to enjoy the perks of shopping with Union Coop. Union Coop has been very careful about maintaining the quality of commodities and the happiness level of its consumers, a combination which makes us the true ‘quality Pioneers.”

He further states, “This move comes as a part of our Year of Zayed initiative, which sees us give something more to the society. As a part of our Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, this time we plan on competitive pricing to our community on quality products, so that they are able to enjoy the best shopping experience.”

The categories include – Food, Non-Food, Textile, Travel, Outdoor, Heavy Household, Light Household and Camping.
