Union Coop and Erada Come Together to Raise Awareness on Drug Dangers

Union Coop, the largest Consumer Cooperative in the UAE has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Erada Center For Treatment and Rehabilitation aimed at educating members of society about the dangers, damages and threats of drugs on the society.
The MoU was signed by Mr Ahmed Bin Kenaid, Director of Human Resources and Emiratization dept., and Dr Mohammad Fayek, Erada’s chief executive officer. The event was held at Etihad Mall, in the presence of a number of Managers and Employees from both the sides.
Mr Ahmed Bin Kenaid said, “We are keen to implement the concept of social responsibility by providing support to raise awareness within the community. Through this memorandum, Union Coop seeks to contribute to the realization of Erada’s strategic plan, which is to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs within the Community, as well as spreading the spirit of the initiative to prevent drug addiction.
For his part, Dr Mohammad Fayek expressed his sincere thanks to Union Coop for their fruitful cooperation with Erada and their keenness to support and apply the concept of Corporate social responsibility towards this initiative, which affects a large segment of young people in the society.
