Union Coop participates in ‘Quenching Their Thirst’ initiative in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation

Dubai, UAE:

In line with its values of solidarity and social care, Union Coop implemented the ‘Quenching Their Thirst’ initiative in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation. The initiative aimed to lighten the impact of the midday heat on workers by distributing water and chilled juices at their work sites.

Union Coop’s participation supports the country’s efforts to protect workers’ health. Bottles of water and chilled juices were distributed to workers at various locations during peak heat hours, recognizing their efforts and ensuring their safety and comfort during morning and midday work periods.

Union Coop affirmed that the initiative reflects its commitment to social responsibility, noting that providing such support, especially during the peak summer season demonstrates genuine appreciation for workers’ efforts. The collaboration with government entities further enhances the initiative’s reach and ability to make a tangible positive impact on the beneficiaries’ lives.

Union Coop renewed its commitment to actively participate in programs and initiatives aimed at improving the work environment and supporting authorities in promoting health, safety, and well-being for all workers.
