World Green Economy Summit
What’s it about?
Sustainability takes center stage at the 8th World Green Economy Summit. Scheduled for November 16-17, 2023, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, this edition enjoys the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in collaboration with the Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) and the World Green Economy Organization (WGEO).
The summit’s primary focus is to spotlight how technology, policies, and the younger generation can be the driving forces behind the transformation of the green economy. Over the course of two days, this gathering will align with the UAE’s ambitious goals, including the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the Dubai Net Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050, aiming to derive 100% of Dubai’s total power capacity from clean energy sources by 2050. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from influential global speakers, official dignitaries, government entities, and esteemed global participants, as they share innovative solutions and tools to advance clean and renewable energy projects.”
