• General
o What are the benefits of joining the loyalty program?
 Faster rewards, personalized offers & challenges, and the chance to win prizes through games
o How do I sign up for the loyalty program?
 If you’re an existing Tamayaz customer, you just need to update the Union Coop App to access the new loyalty benefits
 If you’re not enrolled in Tamayaz, download the Union Coop Application and register
o Are there different tiers I can unlock? How do I move up?
 The new Tamayaz program has maintained the same two tiers:
• Silver: Open to all members
• Gold: Reserved for Shareholders
 Customers can upgrade to the Gold tier by purchasing shares
• Earning & Redeeming Points
o Is the points earning rate changing?
 No, members will still earn 1 point for every 1 AED spent
o Is the redemption threshold changing?
 Yes, customers can now redeem their points once they reach 1,000
 Redemption value remains the same:
• Gold Rate is 1.67%
• Silver Rate is 1.25%
• Employees is 6.67%
o How do I earn loyalty points?
 Points are earned by shopping at Union Coop (Online or in showrooms)
o Is the App required to earn points?
 During the transition period that will last until 31/12/2025, we will still accept physical cards. From 2026 onwards we will only accept digital cards from the Union Coop App
o Do my points expire? If so, when?
 All points expire December 31st
o Can I transfer my points to someone else?
 Currently you cannot transfer points to another member
o Where can I check my points balance?
 The points balance can be checked on the Union Coop App, by clicking on “Tamayaz” and looking at the circle in the top center
• Eligibility & Usage
o Can I earn points on all purchases? Are there any exclusions?
 Points can be earned across all products unless stated otherwise. Exclusions includes transactions completed with a points redemption, or purchases of gift cards
o Can I use my points in-store and online?
 Yes, points can be redeemed both in-store and online
o What happens to my points if I return a purchase?
 The points will be reversed on your account
o Can I combine points with other offers or discounts?
 Yes, you will still earn points on discounted products
• Account & Support
o Is my loyalty account different than my Union Coop account?
 No, your Tamayaz membership is linked to your Union Coop account
o I forgot my loyalty account login details. How can I recover them?
 Your account can be recovered directly on the Union Coop application. If you require additional support or guidance, kindly call the call center at 800 8889
o How do I update my account information (email, phone number, etc.)?
 Your account information can be updated directly on the Union Coop application. If you require additional support or guidance, kindly call the call center at 800 8889
o Can I merge multiple accounts under one name?
 Duplicated accounts can be merged by contacting the call center at 800 8889, or visiting any customer happiness desk
o How do I opt out or cancel my Tamayaz membership?
 Members can cancel their Tamayaz membership directly on the Union Coop App
o Who do I contact if I have a problem with my loyalty account?
 Members can log a complaint via the App or via the toll-free number 800 8889
• Gamification:
o How do I participate in games & challenges?
 Members can participate in games and challenges on the Union Coop App, by clicking on the Tamayaz page and clicking on the relevant game or challenge
o Can I participate in the games & challenges without the App?
 The App is required to participate in games and challenges
o What kinds of rewards can I earn through gamified activities?
 Rewards can vary between products, grand prizes, vouchers, and discounts
o How come I don’t see any games when I open the App?
 We strive to always have a game available on the App but there may be gaps between games. Stay tuned and keep checking the App on a daily basis to access the latest games
o Can games be played more than one time?
 It depends on the game. Please refer to the game-specific T&Cs for more details
• Personalized Offers:
o Why does my friend receive different offers than me?
 Offers may be personalized and specific to your shopping experience, to ensure the maximum relevance
o Where can I find my current personalized offers?
 Personalized offers can be accessed on the Union Coop App, under the Tamayaz page, either by clicking on the top right circle called “Offers activated” or by scrolling down to the offers section
o Why don’t I see any personalized offers?
 We strive to always have offers available on the App but there may be gaps between offers. Stay tuned and keep checking the App on a daily basis to access the latest offers
o Are the personalized offers automatically activated?
 It depends on the offer. Some offers may be pre-activated, while others will require you to activate the offer. We recommend you check the specific offer on the App to confirm.
