Union Coop, the largest cooperative in the UAE, has added the blue verification star to its official Facebook account. The new step comes in line with the coop’s commitment to establishing direct communications channels with the audience, and in keeping with its strategy to adopt modern technology for the benefit of its customers.

The blue star on Facebook indicates a “verified” account, giving the audience the confidence when dealing with pages and accounts that represent entities of public interest, such as journalism, media, sports, business, and other domains. The verification star also enhances the presence of these accounts on social media, and increases public confidence in the entity’s services.
