Union Coop actively participated in a community awareness event titled “Healthy Plate,” organized by Al Warqa Kindergarten to mark World Food Day. The primary objective of the event was to foster awareness about the myriad benefits of a healthy diet for children and to provide easy and quick meal preparation ideas.

During the event, Union Coop distributed 200 food hampers that consisted a variety of fresh fruits. These hampers were distributed to the children of the kindergarten, highlighting Union Coop’s unwavering commitment to supporting community awareness initiatives.

The event featured engaging workshops conducted by nutrition experts from Al Warqa Kindergarten. These workshops not only showcased healthy recipes tailored for children and their parents but also delivered a clear and concise explanation on the significance of daily consumption of fresh foods and fruits for children. Simultaneously, they emphasized the importance of steering clear of unhealthy, unhelpful foods to ensure that children embark on a journey of healthy growth.
