At Union Coop, Employee Happiness and Recognition form an integral part of the work culture, which is why no achievement goes unrecognized. In a similar recent event, the retail pioneer’s Human Resources and Emiratization Dept. organized farewell for 5 dedicated employees.

It was an emotional moment for everyone involved; especially the employees who dedicated a huge portion of their lives working for Union Coop and witnessed Union Coop grow over the years into a pioneered brand.

Their respective managers in the presence of Acting HRE Director / HR Services Section Manager – Mrs. Huda Mohmood Muhsen, honored the loyalty and dedication of these employees.

Mr. P. MUSTHAFA SHANAVAS, who worked at Union Coop for 35 years was honored by Mr. Mansoor Alyedawi – Admin Affairs Deputy Director, Mr. RABIEY YASSIN MERIN ALI – worked for 23 years, Mr. ELAISH MALIK YOUSIF ABU ROUF – worked for 23 years and Mr. JASEM ABDOLLAH AMIZ worked for 18 years, were honored by Mr. Ayoub Mohammed Abdulla Murad – Assistant Operation Manager. Furthermore, Mr. Adham Albalooshi – Maintenance Section Manager, honored Mr. KURUVILLA MATHEW – who worked for 22 years.

It was an emotional moment for everyone, especially the Line Managers who collectively praised their determination and perseverance in building such a memorable career. Each Line Manager spoke kind words of appreciation and encouragement for their respective staff; additionally sharing fond memories that helped them build such a great bond. The Managers unanimously agreed that such employees would always be a part of the Union Coop family and over the years would motivate others to work as dedicatedly as them.

The employees on their part were thankful to Union Coop for organizing the farewell ceremony and providing them with a productive and family-like working environment during their years of service.

As a token of appreciation for their loyalty and dedication, the employees were honored with an appreciation letter, which acknowledged their valuable contribution and hard work over the years and an Afdhal Gift Card each.
