The largest Consumer Cooperative in the UAE organizes multiple Ramadan events for its employees, in a bid to promote spirit of the holy month and improve togetherness among its staff
Sunday, 27 May 2018 – UAE (Dubai):
Retail Pioneer ‘Union Coop’ represented by The Human Resources and Emiratization Dept. recently announced four events exclusively for its employees, aiming to spread the spirit of the holy month and improve mutual relations.
Speaking about the initiative Mr Ahmed Bin Kenaid, Director of Human Resources and Emiratization said, “The ‘Employee Happiness Unit’ at Union Coop, inspired by the holy month plans to inspire spirituality among the staff by educating them about the importance of ‘Ramadan’. We will organize an educational trip for staff to the ‘Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi’, a group breakfast, as well as organizing religious lectures in staff accommodations and celebrating ‘Eid al-Fitr’ with staff.”
When asked about Employee happiness objective of Union Coop, Bin Kenaid added, “Employee happiness is one of the primary objectives of our dept. and our ‘Employee Happiness Unit’ is focussed on ensuring the same. Our employees and their happiness will always be a thing of priority to us.”
