Union Coop, the largest consumer cooperative in the UAE, received a delegation from the management of the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO), and several important decision-makers in the development sector, businessmen and exporters of vegetables and fruits in Jordan, to discuss the Union Coop’s requirements for vegetable and fruit products and reviewing the expected quality standards.

The Jordanian delegation, which was received by Mr. Yaqoob Al Balooshi, Fresh Category Trade Dept. Manager, Union Coop, and in the presence of Mohammad Abbas, Sr. Showroom Supervisor, discussed ways of cooperation and opportunities available to increase Jordanian exports to Union Coop, the mechanism of communication, follow-up and representation, and ways of strengthening relations with the cooperative.

The Jordanian delegation included H.E. Dr. Wissam Rabadi, Chairman of Jordan Exports, Mr. Mohammad Hasan Abu Sido, one of the major producers and exporters in the Jordan Exporters and Producers Association for Fruit and Vegetables, Rama Rawash, Media and Communication Manager at King Abdullah II Fund for Development and Eng. Zaid Al – Nsour, Director of Rural Development and Employment Project (IFAD) at Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation and Zuhair Arif Jweihan, Vice Chairman at Jordan Exporters and Producers Association for Fruits and Vegetables.
