Union Coop Organizes Training Session on ‘Food Safety’ for its Employees

Union Coop, the largest consumer cooperative in the UAE’s Human Resources and Emiratization department organized an informative lecture on ‘Food Safety’ for 1063 employees, aimed at ensuring that the employees follow global practices while dealing with food items.
“Food safety is an essential element of the food security system in the country.” Said Mr. Ahmed Bin Kenaid, Director of Human Resources and Emiratization. He further explained that Union Coop in cooperation with the regulatory authorities in the UAE regularly conducts training courses, lectures and workshops to support its employees with the best global practices that help them deliver the best services.
“The training session included topics related to the basic stages of manufacturing, preparation, handling, transport, storage, display and delivery of food. Union Coop is proactive in following preventive measures related to food safety.” Adds Mr. Ahmed Bin Kenaid.
