The health event was organized in cooperation with Al Noor Polyclinic at Rashidiya and Al Twar Union Coop Branches

Union Coop – the largest Consumer Cooperative in the UAE’s ‘Happiness and Marketing’ Department organized a health event that includes medical examinations and awareness workshops, which was held in cooperation with Al Noor Polyclinic. Around 211 shoppers in Rashidiya and Al Twar Union Coop branch were able to benefit from this activity, which comes within Union Coop’s framework of spreading public health awareness and addressing chronic diseases in general by organizing similar health events regularly.

The Health Event included examinations for chronic conditions such as Blood Pressure, Diabetes and Eye tests, in additional to Dental examinations and others. There was a workshop as well that encouraged people to identify the causes of certain diseases and discussed prevention as well. The event also discussed certain routine for people to follow in order to lead a healthy lifestyle.
