Union Coop Organizes Entertainment Tour to Global Village

The Employee Happiness Unit of the Human Resources and Emiratization Department at Union Coop organized an entertainment tour to the Global Village in Dubai for 50 employees from its various branches, as part of the Coop’s efforts to increase employee satisfaction and enhance productivity and excellence.
Mr. Ahmed Salem Bin Kenaid, Director of the Human Resources and Emiratization Department at Union Coop, said: “The Coop organized several events in 2017, by which we contributed to employee satisfaction through which 576 employees were honored and entertainment tours were also organized for around 200 employees from various departments. Further, we contracted other companies to provide various services at competitive prices to Coop employees.”
“There’s an annual plan for 2018 being prepared by the Employee Happiness Unit which will involve adding a number of diverse and new activities this year, in addition to enhancing existing activities and increasing their number to meet the expectations of Union Coop employees. We will also organize more entertainment tours as they have achieved positive results that reflected directly on employee productivity and happiness,” Bin Kenaid added, noting that establishing the Employee Happiness Unit seeks to create a motivating work environment by organizing events and activities such as entertainment tours, honoring excellent employees, health and cultural initiatives, sports competitions, and providing promotional offers for employees from other companies on periodic basis.
