The former employees were performing the pilgrimage for the first time

Union Coop has implemented several special programs to ensure the happiness of its employees over the past few months through its ‘Human Resources and Emiratization’ department. In September 2023, the cooperative organized an Umrah pilgrimage for several former employees who had not previously performed it, as part of the ‘Employee Happiness Program’ for the year 2023.

It was mentioned that the Human Resources and Emiratization department has organized numerous events and initiatives throughout the year 2023 for its employees, reflecting the management’s commitment to employee happiness. This positively impacts the work environment, enhances efficiency, and fosters team spirit among employees.

It was further explained that 10 employees aged 50 and above, who had never been to Umrah before, were selected as part of the Umrah Journey initiative. The pilgrimage was conducted in two groups during the month of September. The cooperative continues its initiatives to make employees happy and provide a motivating and suitable work environment for them.
