Union Coop, the largest consumer cooperative in the UAE, in cooperation with the insurance company ‘Union Insurance’, held introductory workshops on the benefits of health insurance that it provides to employees covered under its umbrella, with the aim of updating, developing and getting them acquainted about the health insurance benefits, and providing the most important instructions to employees about the mechanism of using health insurance correctly, and how to make optimal use of the health services provided to them by insurance, in addition to improving the level of treatment services and informing them of the costs related to health care in each health facility in the country according to the approved insurance categories.

The workshop was organized via ‘Zoom’ virtual platform on two different days in both Arabic and English language, and in which more than 200 male and female employees participated, as it aims to achieve a smart and integrated health system that serves employees benefiting from the health services provided by the insurance company and enhances oversight of the insurance system and optimal use of health insurance and financial resources.
