Union Coop distributes 500 Healthy Meals to its Employees on the Occasion of the ‘International Day for Tolerance’

On the occasion of the ‘International Day for Tolerance’, which falls on ‘November 16th’ retail pioneer Union Coop distributed more than 500 healthy meals to employees in all its branches, as part of its keenness to participate in community events and promote the concept and values of tolerance.
Mr. Yaqoob Al Balooshi, Fresh Category Trade Dept. Manager said that Union Coop is keen to participate in all global social occasions on an ongoing basis, especially the ones associated with the community, humanitarian and voluntary works that have specific days each year and are celebrated by the world simultaneously, embodying the meanings of brotherhood and tolerance, pointing out that the cooperative is considered as one of the pioneers of the retail trade, and it has a great societal role through its participation and community services that meet the aspirations of the leadership in the country in spreading goodness and instilling positive values that contribute to the elevation and cohesion of society.
