Evaluation of the contractual relationship with local dairy companies was the agenda behind the meeting

UAE Ministry of Economy in an online meeting with Union Coop discussed current and prospective contractual relationship with local dairy companies. The virtual meeting was held between Mr. Marwan AlSboosi, Director of Competition and Consumer Protection Dep., Ministry of Economy and Mr. Yaqoob Al Balooshi, Fresh Category Trade Dept. Manager, Union Coop.

The Ministry has been appreciative of Union Coop’s constant cooperation for the betterment of the community and ensuring a steady platform of support to local producers of the country. The primary agenda of the meeting was to discuss new ways to establish contractual relationship with local dairy companies, a subject on which both the parties shared their point of views and strategies for improvement.

The Fresh Category Trade Dept. Manager on the other hand highlighted Union Coop’s constant efforts to uplift the local producers by organizing workshops and development lectures for them, to help them improve the quality of their produce. Mr. Al Balooshi stressed that Union Coop strives to ensure that the products they offer to the consumers are of high quality and meet international standards of specification.
