Etihad Mall of Union Coop – the largest Consumer Cooperative in the UAE, in cooperation with ‘The General Directorate of Civil Defense in Dubai’ carried out a successful firefighting drill. The practice comes as part of its keenness to prepare and train its employees to respond to emergencies and to test the efficiency of fire-fighting systems and equipment installed in the branch and to ensure the safety of life and property.

Etihad Mall has received a full evaluation by the General Directorate of Civil Defense – Dubai, where it fulfilled all the necessary 20 requirements set by the administration for evaluation, including the availability of adequate fire control and protection systems that are in conformity with the preventive specifications and requirements and provide an appropriate plan for evacuation and trained staff for evacuation and ensuring that there are necessary equipment in the building to facilitate the evacuation process, availability of suitable gathering sites and other important points.
