Union Coop Sign Memorandum of Understanding with Dubai Police to Sponsor ‘White Points’ Initiative

Retail Pioneers ‘Union Coop’ signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Dubai Police to sponsor the ‘White Points’ initiative, in spreading traffic awareness among the community members.
Monday, 16 May 2018 – Dubai (UAE):
Union Coop, UAE’s largest Consumer Cooperative and Dubai Police signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which extends support to the latter’s ‘White Points’ initiative. This mutual agreement was part of Dubai Police and Union Coop’s effort to motivate drivers to comply with traffic laws and regulations.
The memorandum was signed by Major General Engineer Mohammed Saif Al-Zafin, Assistant Commander-in-Chief Operations in Dubai Police and Mr. Suhail Al Bastaki, Director of Happiness and Marketing Department in Union Coop, in the presence of Ms. Huda Salem, Communication & Social Service Section Manager- H&M Department.
Speaking about the agreement, Mr. Suhail Al Bastaki said, “We’re keen and happy to motivate drivers to adhere to traffic laws and regulations, thereby making road journey a happy and safe experience for everyone. We believe supporting Dubai Police initiative to be one of the many good ways of contributing towards community responsibility and development. We look forward to support more of such creative community-based initiatives with high goals by the General Command of Dubai Police.”
Maj. Gen. Engineer Mohammed Saif Al-Zafin honoured Mr. Suhail Al Bastaki and Ms. Fatma Ali Bin Salem, Corporate Social Resp. Officer for her active coordination and responsiveness.
