The largest Consumer Cooperative in the UAE signs Memorandum of Understanding with Dubai Police, stating diamond sponsorship fifth year in a row

The retail Pioneers in the UAE, Union Coop signed a ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ (MoU) with the Dubai Police stating diamond sponsorship for the ‘Challenge Race’ program – eighth session this year. It should be noted that Union Coop is sponsoring this program fifth year in a row.
The memorandum was signed by Major General Obaid Muhair Bin Suroor, Deputy Director General of General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai and H.E. Khalid Humaid Bin Diban Al Falasi, CEO of Union Coop.
Speaking on Union Coop’s role, Al Falasi said: “Union Coop’s keenness to support the Challenge Race Program for the fifth year in a row is one of its ways to enrich the knowledge and cultural resources of the society in general and motivate the participants of the program in particular. Such innovative programs stimulate the community to develop reading skills, strengthen Arabic language and consolidate cultural creativity, as well as provide them with new information that enhances their abilities and develops their cognitive, practical and life skills. ”
‘Challenge Race’ program will be launched during the holy month of Ramadan 2018 and will be streamed on radio channel ‘Noor Dubai’ 93.9 FM, daily between 2 PM to 3 PM except public holidays.
