In framework of continuous support efforts in the field of societal services, especially in the field of Islamic affairs and charitable work, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Cultural Understanding Communication honored Union Coop Society in Dubai Police Officers Club for the year 2015, within the ceremony held on this occasion on Saturday, corresponding to 18/4/2015, where Sheikh Jumaa Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum delivered a certificate of thanks and appreciation to Mr. / Suhail Al Bastaki, Manager of Marketing & Communication Department and Mr. / Shuaib Abdulla Ali, Manager of Marketing Section for the care and support they exerted to the centre to honor the winners of Holy Quran Memorization Competition.

It is stated that Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Cultural Understanding Communication works under auspice of H. H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to increase the awareness and understanding among different cultures living in Dubai. It is a non-profit organization working under slogan “Open doors – open minds”, and seeks to remove the barriers among people of different nationalities, and promote the awareness by local culture, habits and religion.

Further, the aim of Centre is to improve the understanding among cultures, integration and communication between the local and foreign inhabitants, in addition to programs of cultural awareness for the companies in the Public Sector and Private Sector all over Emirates.
