Dubai, UAE –
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) has honored ‘Union Coop’ in recognition of its continuous support for Dubai Government initiatives that serve the community across various knowledge sectors and promote the use of the Arabic language.
The honor was presented by Mr. Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of MBRF, and received on behalf of Union Coop by Mr. Shuaib Al Hammadi, Senior Media Section Manager, during an award ceremony held at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event was attended by distinguished figures from the fields of knowledge and culture.
This recognition was part of the World Arabic Language Day celebrations and highlights Union Coop’s active role in supporting the Arabic language, as well as the foundation’s cultural initiative, “Bil Arabi.” The initiative aims to encourage Arabs to use their native language across the internet and social media platforms while contributing to the global and regional promotion of Arabic as a language of knowledge and culture.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) was established in May 2007 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to drive innovation, knowledge-sharing, and sustainable development in the region.
