The Dubai International Holy Quran Award Honored the Union Cooperative Society, in recognition of the commendable efforts of the Union, and it outstanding giving, through its excellent community contributions in support of the Dubai International Holy Quran competition, the nineteenth session and the community support on the scope of the region in the field of Islamic affairs.
His highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, honored the sponsors Companies and institutions including the Union Cooperative Society, and that by handing over a certificate of thanks and appreciation to Mr. / Suhail Al Bastaki, Manager of Marketing & Communication Department , in the presence of the chancellor Ibrahim Boumelha, advisor to his highness the ruler of Dubai for cultural and humanitarian affairs, the chairman of the organizing committee, Ibrahim Boumelha said that the events of the international competition in its nineteenth session ended successfully, and we are thrilled with the success of these events whether on the side of the lectures, which its aspects, themes, personalities and categories varied, or on the side of the international competition in which the keepers of the book of Allah from across the world competed.

The Union Cooperative Society sponsors the Dubai International Holy Quran Award with an amount of AED 500,000 annually, the award serves the Holy Quran across the Islamic world and its science and honoring its people, and is held per annum in the period 20-1 Ramadan 1436 Hegira, under the sponsorship of his highness sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the state vice-president, prime minister and ruler of Dubai.
