Dubai Chamber Grants “Union Cooperative Society” Sign of Social Liability for Institutions 2015

Union Cooperative Society was granted yesterday, Monday, the sign of the social liability for the institutions 2015 for the consecutive third year given by Dubai Chamber in evaluating its remarkable and excellent efforts in the field of the social liability for the institutions, committing to develop its liable practices and its effective role in supporting the vital sectors through the participation in and organization of the social and environmental initiatives and activates.
For this occasion, His Highness, Khalid Humaid Bin Diban Al Falasi, General Manager of Union Cooperative Society said “Society’s getting the sign of “Dubai Chamber” for the consecutive third year is an evidence of the correctness of its plans in applying the strategies of green economy and green development aiming at maintaining the integrity and cleanness of the local environment and its vital efforts during the last three years in establishing the best and global practices and standards in the field of the social liability and launching the initiatives and activities improving the living level of the community”.
Al Flasy confirmed “The society is eager to establish a sustainable system through its all operations and activities as getting this certificate is an incentive to exert more efforts to apply the liable works contributing in keeping on the natural resources, stating that the society signed many memorandum of understanding and agreements that aims at enhancing the social development, participation and care of the various activities in the field of sustainable development”.
He added “The social liability is an integral part of the values of “Union Cooperative Society” as it is keen to use all potential capabilities serving and contributing in the achievement of more successes for the state and he also thanked all departments of the society for their contributing in this achievement and the success in all fields”.
Mr. Harb Bin Thany, Director of Operation Sector in Union Cooperative Society has received the certificate on behalf of His Highness / Khalid Humaid Bin Diban Al Falasi, General Manager of Society in a celebration held yesterday “Monday” in Chamber of Commerce and Industry to honor the winners in the presence of Eng. Modia Al Mari, Director of Real Estate and Project Sector, a number of the society’s staff and the companies participating in the sign of “Dubai Chamber” for the social liability of the institutions.
It is worthy mentioned that Dubai Chamber’s sign for the social liability of the institutions launched in 2010 was designed to provide a free frame to evaluate the liable practices and assist the company in determining and developing its strategies for such practices including the polices and methods of management. The company’s getting this sign is an evidence for its lasting and remarkable efforts in the field of the social liability for the institutions and its commitment to develop its liable practices.
