Dubai, UAE: 

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) in Dubai has received a check for AED 500,000 from the Union Coop in support of the Ramadan Dubai 1445 initiative.

This comes as a continuation of the strategic partnership between the department and Union Coop. His Excellency AHMED DARWISH AL MUHAIRI, Director-General, IACAD, received His Excellency Mohamed Al Hashemi, CEO, Union Coop, and Dr. Suhail Al Bastaki, the Director of Corporate Communication Dept. Union Coop, in the presence of BUTTI ABDULLA AL JUMAIRI, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE CORPORATE SUPPORT SECTOR, and Ahmed Khalfan Al Mansouri, cultural communication consultant at IACAD, Sheikha Sultan Al Marri, Director of Communications and Marketing, and Ahmed Al Zahid.

The Director-General of the department welcomed the distinguished guests from the Union Coop and thanked them for their continued support of the various activities and events organized by the department throughout the year, as well as for their support of the Ramadan Dubai 1445 initiative. Union Coop is considered one of the most important strategic partners of the department.

The guests were also presented with an exclusive copy of the Quran: Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid’s version, may Allah bless his soul.
