Union Coop, the largest Consumer Cooperative in the UAE, through the ‘Happiness and Marketing’ Department organized an interactive ‘introductory workshop’ entitled ‘Becoming a Shareholder in Union Coop’ exclusively for ‘Dubai Electricity and Water Authority’ staffs. The workshop was held at the head office building in coordination with ‘Corporate Communications’ department.

The workshop was hosted by Mr. Shuaib Al Hammadi, Senior Media & Marketing Section Manager, Union Coop, and was attended by several DEWA officials – both Union Coop shareholders and non-shareholders. Dr. Suhail Al Bastaki, Director of Happiness and Marketing Department and Ms. Huda Salem Saif, Senior Communication Section Manager at Union Coop attended the workshop as well.

The workshop touched on the current and future projects implemented by Union Coop and financial performance for the fiscal year 2019 and included interactive sessions with the attendees wherein their suggestions and observations were acknowledged. Moreover, the workshop highlighted the advantages of electronic share trading platform and the status of Union Coop and its strength in the retail trade sector. The workshop concluded with lucky draws and prize distributions.
