As part of its corporate social responsibility and ongoing commitment to promoting women’s health, Union Coop organized a series of awareness events in line with Pink October—the global month for breast cancer awareness. The initiatives were held in collaboration with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Medcare Medical Centre, and Burjeel Holdings.

The events featured informative workshops and lectures highlighting prevention methods, the importance of early detection, and the latest treatment advancements. Speakers included Dr. Sama Zibdeh, Consultant Breast Surgeon (Al Zahra Hospital Dubai), Dr. Eman AboElnagah, Specialist – Dermatology & Aesthetics (Medcare), and Dr. Hamsa Noori, Specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology (Medcare).

Interactive sessions and awareness competitions were also organized to encourage participation and reinforce health education in the workplace. Union Coop presented valuable prizes to participants, creating an engaging and positive environment that supported the campaign’s awareness goals.
