The firm welcomes ‘World Nursery’ children for an educational visit to promote interactive learning

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting educational and community initiatives, Union Coop welcomed children from World Nursery to its Al Twar branch for an educational field trip themed ‘Fruits and Vegetables’.

The visit aimed to enhance interactive learning and connect children with their environment and local community by introducing them to various types of fruits and vegetables. It also sought to encourage healthy eating habits and foster appreciation for the essential role of community workers who help provide fresh food daily.

90 children participated in the visit, during which they toured the fruits and vegetables section of the store and engaged with staff members who shared simplified information about how fresh products are stored and cared for before being displayed to consumers.

Union Coop emphasized that participating in such initiatives, which combine education and community engagement, reflects its commitment to supporting programs that instill healthy nutritional values in young generations and strengthen cooperation between educational and community institutions.
