UAE, Dubai 22nd :
On the occasion of ‘World Hypertension day’, Union Coop the largest consumer cooperative in the UAE – human resources & Emiratisation department organized a medical event for its employees who are Residing in staff accommodation. The event was organized in order to raise awareness about high blood pressure and educate them to combat this silent killer, thereby reducing the number of people suffering from it.
From his part, Mr. Ahmed bin Kenaid Director of HR & Emiratisation department said, “We aim to effectively raise public awareness about the importance of early detection and treatment of high blood pressure, among our employees, whom represent a special value to Union Coop and are considered to be part of our community.” He further pointed out that Union Coop is keen to prepare and implement more cultural and health events further during the year, in line with the international medical events.
