The trip was organized as a part of ‘Employee Happiness Initiative’

As a part of its endeavor to create a safe and sustainable work environment, and to raise the job satisfaction index, Union Coop, the largest consumer cooperative in the UAE organized three leisure trips (Global Village, two Desert Safari Trips) in January 2019. 129 employees benefitted from this plan, which was implemented this year.

Mr. Ahmed Bin Kenaid, Director of Human Resources and Emiratization, Union Coop said, “The 2019 Employee Satisfaction Plan includes a variety of new and different programs and activities, in addition to strengthening the current activities, which highlights that the unit is working to implement the best activities and programs that contribute to enhancing the family spirit and friendliness among Union Coop staffs.”

Talking about the activities of the Safari, Bin Kenaid explained, “Our Employee happiness unit ensured comfort, enjoyment and entertainment of employees. The journey took place in form of an authentic Arabian adventure in the desert of Dubai, including activities like camel riding, four-wheel drive on the dunes and dinner.”

In a similar context, the employees of Union Coop praised the efforts of the senior management, which seeks to create a safe and sustainable working environment for all, pointing out that Union Coop introduces new programs that contribute to upgrading the work system to achieve the aspirations and vision of the wise leadership.
