Union Coop has launched an initiative titled ‘On Zayed’s Path’ in collaboration with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MRHE). The initiative aims to distribute Ramadan food packages to underprivileged and low-income families on ‘Zayed Humanitarian Day’, observed annually on the 19th of Ramadan.

This initiative reaffirms the significance of charitable work and social solidarity, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan. It aligns with Union Coop’s corporate social responsibility efforts to promote values of compassion and generosity.

Mr. Shuaib Al Hammadi, Senior Media Section Manager, Union Coop, emphasized that this initiative is a heartfelt message of love and generosity inspired by the founding leaders of the UAE, who instilled a deep-rooted culture of giving. He added that ‘Zayed Humanitarian Day’ serves as an annual occasion to embody noble values and strengthen the spirit of benevolence and kindness within the UAE community.
