Union Coop Honors Interns/Trainees

Dubai, UAE: – Union Coop held a ceremony to honor school interns who participated in the 2024 summer training program. The event took place at the Dubai Autism Center’s conference hall, recognizing 29 students for their efforts and active participation across various Union Coop branches.
The students were honored for their commitment and excellence in performing the tasks assigned to them. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Saleh Alhammadi, Sr. Area Manager at Union Coop, who praised the students’ efforts and expressed pride in their achievements during the training period.
In his speech at the event, Alhammadi said: “At Union Coop, we believe in the importance of supporting and developing the skills of young people. Through this program, we aim to equip them with practical skills and experiences that enhance their future career opportunities. We are proud of the work they did during the training period.”
The training program, which took place during the school summer break, involved training students in a variety of roles across different divisions and departments within Union Coop’s. This provided them with practical skills in areas such as customer service, inventory management, marketing, and sales. The program aims to encourage students to work in the private sector and retail, and to enhance their understanding of the significance of these sectors in the economy.
The interns expressed their happiness with their participation in the program and the substantial benefits they gained from the practical experiences. One student remarked: “The program was a great opportunity to learn new skills and experience a real work environment. I thank Union Coop for this valuable opportunity.”
The summer training program is part of Union Coop’s initiatives to enhance education and training in the community, reflecting its commitment to social responsibility and supporting youth in achieving their professional aspirations.
