Union Coop has been conducting similar activities on different occasions throughout the year

On the occasion of International Children’s Day, Union Coop – the largest Consumer Cooperative in the UAE distributed 400 healthy meals to children who visited its branches. The meal hampers contained healthy and fresh fruits, to promote the concept and importance of healthy eating.

Commenting on this, Mr. YAQOOB ALBALOOSHI, Fresh Category Trade Dept. Manager – Union Coop said – “Every year Union Coop is keen to celebrate International Children’s Day by distributing healthy meals to children accompanied by families shopping in the Union Coop branches. We indulge in such activities intending to raise their knowledge and awareness for the benefits and importance of adopting healthy habits daily to lead to a useful lifestyle away from Chronic diseases,” indicating that Union Coop through its programs and regular campaigns is keen to contribute in instilling the concept of healthy and smart consumption among individuals, to build a healthy society with sustainable resources.
