Union Coop celebrated UAE Flag Day, a proud national occasion observed annually to reaffirm the organization’s unwavering loyalty and deep-rooted connection to the nation and its visionary leadership. The cooperative marked the event by raising the UAE flag across all its branches, commercial centers, and staff accommodations throughout the Emirate of Dubai.
To commemorate the occasion, Mr. Mohamed Al Hashemi, CEO, along with Union Coop’s Directors and Managers from various Divisions and Departments, joined by dedicated employees, gathered to hoist the flag during a formal ceremony held in front of Al Warqa City Mall in Dubai.
Simultaneously, flags were hoisted across all Union Coop outlets, with enthusiastic participation from employees at each branch and center. Shoppers and visitors also took part in this remarkable national celebration that symbolized unity and pride.
Emphasizing the occasion, Mr. Al Hashemi said – “Flag Day represents an enduring symbol of national unity and Emirati identity, embodying the strong bond between leadership and people, and reflecting the legacy established by the founding fathers with wisdom and devotion.”
