2000 Union Coop Employees Trained on ‘Food Safety’ Practices

Union Coop, the largest Consumer Cooperative in the UAE through its ‘Business Strategy and Corporate Development’ department – ‘Training & Development Section’ organized training sessions for 2000 employees on ‘Food & Safety’. This training session was structured to ensure the implementation of the latest international food safety mechanisms and practices by the employees, which will help them in preserving food quality.
Highlighting the importance of such dynamic training program, Mrs Priya Chopra, Director of Business Strategy & Corporate Development Department said: – “We aim to train our staff to increase their efficiency of food management and to provide the best services to our valuable consumers, thereby raising the service satisfaction level. Training programs like this is continuously helping us to improve by applying the latest global retail tactics and practices in all the spheres.”
Union Coop has been conducting training programs at a regular interval for its employees and recently it crossed 663 training programs with a total of 50,000 training hours, to enhance the skills of its employees and update their knowledge about everything new in the world of the retail industry.
