Etihad Meer program provides the social support for the needing families in UNION COOP, and it aims at providing the basic requirements for them through purchase smart card with the amount of 500 AED for six months.
Etihad Meer Program
This program had been specified for the contributed families of limited income and the beneficiaries of the social supports where 1837 contributor had been registered in the program from the beneficiaries of Ministry of Social Affairs and the charitable societies supports during the period from 01/06/2014 till 31/07/2014 by specifying a purchase card with the amount of 500 AED monthly for six months for those families, where the amount of 5,511,000 AED had been disbursed till 31/07/2014, and the registration in the program is continuing till 31/12/2014 or till the allowed number by the management 1900 shareholders is achieved.
 
To register:
• Fill the registration form of Etihad Meer Program which is available in the communication and society service department in Etihad Mall.
• Bring the following documents attached to the form:
1. To Whom It May Concern certificate from the supporting authority/ Beit Al Kheir Society card.
2. Photocopy of ID or Passport
3. Photocopy of applicant’s ID
Procedures:
• The card can be used in all the branches of UNION COOP in Dubai.
• The amount will be recharged automatically by the Cooperative by the beginning of every month, for 6 months.
• The specified amount in the card for every month does not stay for the next month if it was not utilized.
• UNION COOP keeps all the right to add or modify any of the previous articles.
