The agreement aimed at enhancing financial support for community initiatives

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment and Union Coop signed an agreement aimed at enhancing financial support for community initiatives, thus contributing to creating innovative strategic solutions in facing social challenges and improving the lives of community members.

The agreement signed by H.E. Omar Hamad BuShehab, CEO of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment and Eng. Abdulla Mohammad Rafie Al Dallal, Managing Director, Union Coop, in the presence of several employees from both sides, stipulates the provision of shopping cards from the Union Coop.

H.E. BuShehab said – “The strategic agreement with Union Coop reflects our joint commitment to promote social initiatives and improving the quality of life of low-income families in Dubai,” hereby expressing his appreciation to Union Coop for its distinguished role in supporting community initiatives in Dubai, which aims to enhance community solidarity and activate partnerships between the government and private sectors, appreciating their keenness to support and assist low-income households.

For his part, Eng. Abdulla Mohammad Rafie Al Dallal said – “The Cooperative takes immense pride to cooperate with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment and support its community initiatives, as this MoU aims to exchange ideas and experiences in addition to the financial support it provided to the establishment for the second year in a row,”

He added – “The new MoU comes as an extension of the cooperative’s efforts to support qualitative programs and initiatives that target community groups with limited income, thereby meeting the visions and aspirations of the social sector of Dubai.”

This partnership is in line with the objectives of the two institutions emanating from the vision and directives of the wise leadership to provide stability for Emirati families and improve their quality of life. It is an important step towards achieving the goals of the Dubai government, which focuses on promoting prosperity, sustainability, innovation and community cohesion.
