Union Coop’s Human Resources and Emiratization (HRE) Dept. conducted official visits to staff accommodations in areas of Muhaisnah, Al Qusais and Al Quoz.

Union Coop, the largest Consumer Cooperative in the UAE’s ‘HRE’ Dept. conducted unique cleanliness and hygiene drive, wherein they awarded staffs from various housing units in Dubai with the cleanest rooms on each floor.

This unique initiative was a part of the company’s Employee happiness initiatives that are oriented towards increasing coordination among the staffs outside the working environment, and help them realize the importance of maintaining a hygienic environment wherein they live.

Mr. Ahmed Bin Kenaid, Director of Human Resources and Emiratization, Union Coop said, “Our employee happiness unit is dedicated to organizing creative initiatives like this, which not only boost employee morale outside the working environment but help them realize important lessons with respect to health, cleanliness and hygiene. This time, we rewarded the best housing management with a certificate of honor plus cash reward. Moreover, we have awarded the best room winners as well with a Certificate and cash reward as well, as this will not only help them feel valued but also motivate them to do better next time and motivate others as well.”

The gift certificates were awarded to the staff at their respective accommodations by ‘Mr. Tariq Alserkal’, Staff Accommodation Unit Head, who also encouraged the staff members to carry on with their efforts and motivate others to do the same as well.

The employees on their part thanked the Union Coop management for organizing such an innovative initiative and rewarding their hard work as well. The initiative will be held every three months.
