A Brief about the “Ghars Program”
The Program was launched by DSC in 2013 – 2014 and is part of DSC’s strategic plan aiming to attain excellence / qualify sports youth and help them acquire positive behaviors & life skills so that they become useful for families & community in general. It also boosts athletes’ behaviors and ensures that the same conforms to the culture, values & traditions of UAE. In this regard, respective bodies act to boost distinctive environmental atmospheres among Dubai sports clubs aiming to avoid negative behaviors & support positive values.
DSC has fixed several objectives for the Program; parts of these are to: teach clubs’ players to deal as per positive behavioral values / safeguard players against misconduct / boost relations between sports clubs & players’ families / enhance educational role & social job for sports clubs / enhance relations between Dubai clubs & players’ families.
