During the special health event that was held at Etihad Mall Wednesday 5 Feb until Sunday 9 Feb, 2014. Al Baraha Hospital (one of the hospitals affiliated to Ministry of Health) pleasantly awarded Union Cooperative Society with a certificate of thanks and appreciation a long with a recognition trophy for their effective efforts to fight obesity.

During the event, free health checkups were conducted to Etihad Mall visitors to detect the sugar level, cholesterol level and blood Pressure. On this occasion, the General Manager of Union Coop Mr. Khalid AL Falasi showed gratitude and expressed thankfulness to Mall Management for their efforts and dedication to the success of this event, and to all the participants & contributors of this event wishing them all further progress & success
