The volunteer humanitarian organization ‘Emirates Red Crescent’ honored ‘Union Coop – the largest Consumer Cooperative’ in the UAE for its participation in the ‘Super Winter Merchants’ initiative. This comes due to Union Coop’s keenness to contribute towards the development of entrepreneurship and encourage children to have personal moral and administrative skills necessary to become entrepreneurs of the future.

The ‘Super Winter Merchants’ initiative includes a series of stories dedicated to developing entrepreneurship and encouraging children to have the personal, moral and managerial skills necessary to become entrepreneurs and future merchants. The series consists of 64 stories divided into 11 bags in each bag 6 stories classified according to the following criteria- Personality traits and Moral features, administrative skills and finally a series of steps to establish your own business, wherein this information through creative story ideas will focus on developing skills and raise the participants’ knowledge stock so that they become future entrepreneurs and investors supported by both knowledge and science.

Apart from Union Coop’s participation in the ongoing initiatives and showing continuous support to the Emirates Red Crescent, the firm also contributed by distributing cards for Orphans, in addition to light snacks for them and the volunteers of the initiative.
