UAE’s largest Consumer Cooperative organizes two entertainment trips for 100 employees on the occasion of International Workers’ Day

Union Coop, the largest consumer cooperative in the UAE recently organized two separate entertainment trips for its 100 employees to celebrate ‘International Workers’ Day’. The first trip included brief visit to popular locations in Dubai such as Jumeirah Mosque, Al Fahidi Gold Souq, Al Bastakiya and Zabeel Palace. The second trip was a Dhow cruise with buffet dinner for all the employees to enjoy a friendly conversation while enjoying the beauty of Dubai.

Explaining the importance of such group trips, the Director of Human Resources and Emiratization, Mr Ahmed Bin Kenaid said, “Union Coop has always paid great importance to the happiness of its workers, as they all are a part of our big family.”

In addition to the recreational trips organized by the Human Resource department, additional initiatives such as contests and prize distribution, sending International Workers’ Day greetings to every employee and chocolate baskets were also distributed by the cooperative.
