MARCH 22, 2018 – THURSDAY DUBAI, UAE

Mr. Khalifa Ahmed Al Amiri, member of Union Coop – UAE’s largest Consumer Cooperative, won three medals at the 2018 Special Olympics Regional Games, held in Abu Dhabi. He won 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze in marathon event of different distance categories.
Congratulating Mr. Al Amiri on his achievement, Mr Ahmed Bin Kenaid – Director of Human Resources and Emiratization said, “Union Coop has always been with the Members of Determination when it comes to developing potential skills and achieving their dreams. At Union Coop, we have 5 special Members of Determination, each of whom we have encouraged to excel in their respective fields of passion, by providing them with flexible working hours, training and resources as well.”
Praising the leadership of the UAE, he said “We thank the leadership of the UAE for their continuous support and for providing us with all the means necessary for success, creativity and excellence. Moreover, we would also like to thank the organizers of the tournament and the management of the Union Coop for continuous encouragement.”
