On World Children’s Day, Union Coop distributed healthy meals to visiting children in its branches, to promote and highlight the importance of healthy eat.

The distribution of healthy food to children comes within the framework of the Union Coop’s keenness every year to participate in the World Children’s Day, by distributing meals to children accompanying their families to the Union Coop branches, to educate them about the benefits and importance of following healthy habits daily, to lead a healthy lifestyle away from chronic diseases.

Mr. Yaqoob Al Balooshi, Fresh Category Trade Dept. Manager said that Union Coop celebrates World Children’s Day annually, as part of its social responsibility, which emphasizes the importance of allocating and organizing awareness programs and activities that care for children, especially on such international occasions, to motivate them to follow a healthy regimen that keep them healthy and maintain their safety, pointing out that the cooperative develops many community initiatives that are in the interest of the child, youth and the family in general.
